Your eyes are the windows to your soul.

They give you away when you are happy and when you are sad.

They tell on you when you are thinking naughty thoughts.

They twinkle like stars, and snap like fireworks.

Your lover gets drawn into them every time you kiss.

You communicate more than you will ever know with your eyes.

Look across the table and make eye contact.

but your eyes snap and sparkle like perfectly cut diamonds.

You shake your head and say that he is “okay” when your friends ask,

but they can see the light in your eyes whenever you talk about him. Your eyes have just ratted you out!

We wink and bat our eyes to flirt. We roll our eyes to express disgust, annoyance or boredom.

We clamp our eyes shut when we are afraid, and open them wide when we are surprised.

Our eyes appear partially closed to signal our sexual arousal.

Our eyes allow us to pass messages to people when words are not going to get it done.

Every single emotion we feel as humans shows in our eyes.

We look for messages in our lover’s eyes and hope that we are not misreading cues.

We mourn when we look into lifeless eyes and realize there is no feeling there to be expressed any longer.

And we smile, when we look across the table and get a slow, smoldering wink and a single eyebrow raised message.

You may find it difficult to believe that almost every break up for whatever reason…infidelity, plain old lost passion, loss of interest, a stolen heart and worse…even the worst situations you can imagine…like men serving prison sentences have salvaged their relationships. Yes, even Ex-cons have got back together with girlfriends and wives after being away for years!

Now I can almost see you shaking your head in disbelief…

Don’t you know couples that have gotten back together? A girl that has taken a guy back?…or vice versa?

I bet you do…and here’s the strange real clincher…

Do you remember why they broke up in the first place? I bet you know at least one guy or gal that took their lover back after an affair…or unfaithfulness…or worse even?

Sure! And I bet you know of…or have heard of at least one girl that has taken a guy back that REALLY should not have…you know the ones I am talking about…(and I know this is kind of dark)… the girls or guys that are in verbally or physically abusive relationships.

Now, that is some really dark stuff and I am not recommending to anyone to take someone back if the relationship was abusive…I am using it as a point that almost NO SITUATION is unsalvageable…

Seriously, Doesn’t that make sense? That if most of us can think of couples that have gotten back together…under even some horrible circumstances…that there could be some hidden recipe, or secret even, to reigniting passion and recapturing lost love?

Now…I am not saying they were holding some “secret love spell” book and doing weird chants…not at all…at the same time somehow, by MOSTLY accident they said and did the RIGHT THINGS at the RIGHT TIME…and won back the heart of their lover…or at least created the circumstances where their ex gave them a second chance.

What if? What they said…and what they did…could be “bottled” so to speak? And then you could “unbottle” it and put it to use? To erase old hurts…to reignite passion again…to turn back to a time when your relationship was fresh, new and exciting.

You see there IS a “recipe for love” as well as a recipe for winning back and keeping some ones interest, desire, passion, heart and love…

What they did by “accident” can be repeated over and over on PURPOSE!

If I were you…I would be somewhat skeptical right now…that’s totally fine! I am going to show you some concrete proof. Just bear with me okay?

-Leaving the radio off because every song makes you cry

-Constantly checking your email and voice mail to see if he/she called

-Not going out because you are afraid to miss a call

-Endlessly rehearsing what you will say if you bump into them

…and when you do get a hold of them, it usually turns ugly because without a clear plan of what you are supposed to do…what happens? P-A-N-I-C…defensiveness…arguments…and then it gets really nasty.

-We try to convince them we are the love of their life

-Try to get them to see that it wasn’t really our fault

…and of course with every word we utter, regardless of our intention, the more and more defensive, angry and distant they become.

Many people say, “The luxury and the goodness in marriage life can only be experienced in the early days, weeks or months after the wedding”. This is according to most married couples, specifically those who ended up as “ex-couples”. Somehow we could say this is true especially if we’ll see those married couples end up in separation. What’s wrong with it, then? Whose fault is it? Why did it turn out to break up? Perhaps there is something wrong with each other. Or it could be the husband’s or the wife’s issue.

At this point let us consider the side of the husbands. Why does a wife leave her husband? There could be a lot of reasons why this happens. In a woman’s point of view, it could be an attitude problem with the husband. Attitude here, refers to various characters and/or behaviors a man showed to his wife later in their marriage days. These behaviors fall on the category that’s “Bad” and “Unacceptable”. Perhaps she’s shocked upon discovering the real character of the man she is with right now. Why? It is because, most men tend to hide their negative behaviors especially during courtship. Does this mean that these men are hypocrites? No offense, but it’s partly true. I mean, some men are, some aren’t. Others are just so afraid of losing their women if they will show their real image before marriage. They are doing this just to be safe.

One of the most love-killing attitude that could possibly result to divorce is being selfish and indifferent. This happens when a man doesn’t think of the feelings of a woman as his wife. This is shown when a man keeps practicing an over authoritative behavior towards his wife. Eventually, it reaches up to the point of abusing the rights of his wife, pushing her to give up. Practically, a woman would say, “Why suffer much longer with this kind of man? I need respect. Even I, do respect my own self. So why should live with a man who does not care to respect me?”

This simply means one thing. Respect is an essential element for a successful and happy marriage. This is for both husband and wife. If you do have respect towards each other’s feelings, then everything will follow: open-mindedness, understanding, patience, and acceptance. Always remember women are born with vulnerable feelings and “too much” for them is not always good. If your woman leaves you, that simply means there is something wrong with what you did to her or even worst, something is wrong with you as her husband.

So you better think many times, and keep pondering on what you’ve done to her that forced her to do the most difficult decision-that’s breaking up your marriage. After you found out what the problem is, you’ve go to decide whether or not to win her back or just five her up.
